Re: Australian tour of India 2017

Love the way Renshaw is playing but should be be hitting some of these balls pitched outside leg rather than padding up??? Not criticising just a question

I reckon ur flirting with danger padding up considering the spin is so untrue
Yep I agree, he seems to me to be missing out on rotating the strike by not paddling them down to leg. Mind you he knows more than me, batting sensationally.

Re: Australian tour of India 2017

Marsh Out, Stoinis in..

Replacing one bloke who hasnt earned it with another!

...While Stoinis, 27, is averaging 15.63 with the bat and 39 with the ball in the 2016-17 Shield season...

This obsession with unearthing the next great all-rounder or gem in the rough is getting out of hand!
Yes it's a ridiculous decision. I rate Stoinis and I think he's capable of playing international cricket (Was good to dee him show what he can do in the ODI side) but he's been so out of form this season and did not deserve to be Marsh's replacement.

I wouldn't like his selection but Henriques should of been the guy to replace Marsh. He's performed the best out of all the allrounders in first class cricket this summer. Had a pretty debut in India aswell.
Tom Cooper the most inform number 6 in the country and can bowl a little spin/nude nuts

Wingard , Ah Chee - 23
Clurey , Neade , Wines - 22
Austin, Impey , Amon , Byrne-Jones - 21
Howard, Palmer , Bonner - 20
Houston, Snelling, Powell-Pepper, Atley, Drew - 19

you have used that list as cause for optimism but i think its the opposite really.

Re: Brisbane 2016

Took the trip to Noarlunga today, thought the Lions were quiet good on field and much better than last year. Will win more games this year than last.

The players after the game were fantastic, spent a good half an hour with the few Lions supporters there, nothing was too much trouble. Signatures, pictures and conversation. Only player not interested was Ryan Bastinac who just ran straight into the change rooms. My sons face was beaming!

Re: Adelaide Crows 2017

Hawthorn are plodders through the middle. Adelaide will win, and win comfortably IMO.

I think Adelaide should be flag favorite, actually. One thing they have secured is a very, very good coach and that IMO will make up for any perceived shortfall in their midfield.
