Long time listener first time caller: How many fringe A graders and lower grade teams are gona say I cbf playing this year now ?
A lot of teams r going to struggle to get numbers to fill sides..I can see a heap of forfeits coming if the season ever gets the nod

Good to have a fellow purveyor of fine music in here @point man.

Re: 2024 Adelaide Footy League - Division 1

[quote= :-? Having been intimately involved with the SAAFL / AdFL for the past 15 years, or quoted 10 years, I would disagree with your opinion about both clubs[/quote]

I'm not sure exactly what you're disagreeing with.

The quality of players/people involved at both clubs.
The fact that some juniors will play for their Old Scholar teams, instead of their junior Club.
The other clubs were one-hit wonders.
All of the above?

I'd suggest your intimacy with Glenunga would be limited to a couple of years and even less with Golden Grove.,

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 1

Lycett was 5 points because he played predominantly AFL in his previous 2 seasons. A SANFL player who does the same is 4 points. I say well done to them for bringing in the likes of Gray and Lycett the last few years. Adds to the profile and quality of the league. PD’s run to the flag was also down to how they managed Lycett. They saved him from major ruck duty until later in the season and he was dominant when it counted.

Thing with Districts is they were not and are not reliant on just those players, they have a damn talented list and very well managed and coached
