Re: BL&G Football League

So who exactly is supposed to be training at Ango? Apart from the Oxenhams and Pete Bradtke that have gone to Hamley Bridge we seem to have kept most of them. Notwithstanding that the players would still need to be cleared within the league...

Johncock has gone to try his luck at Glenelg and Luke Howard lives in Brisbane. We picked up Craig Jamar and a couple of locals in Molyneux, Thomas and Dunne have returned...

Apparently Gawler Central is the first side in the league to recruit a few handy players in an attempt to win a premiership?

And not sure if Chuck may have short memory for the sort of behaviour that normally occurs in the Bay 13 tent at Williamstown?

That's true, Bay 13 can be quite an embarrassment to the club at times. But unfortunately it seems your "ferals" are not just confined to one small section of the crowd.

Re: BL&G Football League

I went to the dogpound yesterday - watched BDFC training. If Roger can get this group to finals in 2014 he should be Australian of the year. With the personnel he has available to him I think they'll struggle to win a game. The lower grades are also pretty ordinary as far as quality and numbers on the track might indicate. I think a re-build is definitely on.

Re: Dangerfield Ouch

He either has a very low tolerance to pain & discomfort or he's a hypochondriac who loves the attention. Tough? Not even in the same galax y as Joel Selwood.

Re: Port Adelaide 2015

Time for all Port people and the Media to realise that Port Adelaide is just not that good, they have been found out and wanting. Your season is over now go away!!!

When you have people like Rucci writing biased BS stories about Port in the Adelaide media ....We don't have a choice :(
Yes you do. Don't buy the paper.

To be completely honest, I think the Crows will be better without him.

Re: Most Exciting Players in the game

Gary Ablett Snr is the most mercurial player I have seen play the game. For a man of his size, his strength, speed and incredibly deep bag of tricks will be unrivalled for many a generation. Disappointed in the fact I never saw him play live.

For the Power, the players who are worth their admission price alone:

Gavin Wanganeen
Byron Pickett
Stewart Dew
David Rodan
Robbie Gray (IMO the most talented PAFC player I have ever seen in the AFL).
Chad Wingard.

Some others that have just been incredible to watch over the years:

Andrew McLeod
Tony Modra
Jason Akermanis- absolute flog, but the bloke could play
Chris Judd
Ben Cousins
Darren Jarman
Wayne Carey
Lance Franklin
Cyril Rioli
GAJ

I'm sure there are many others that I have forgotten.

Wanganeen was better to watch at Essendon.
I thought he was pretty darn impressive & exciting for Port in September, 2004.

It should be. Maybe all the whinging from Crows last week influenced the AFL in that concession.

I thought Polec was the missing piece....

There's no doubt he was missed last year.

Re: BL&G Football League

Bombers over Barossa by 6 goal. With out the big guys firing Barossa look ordinary Shilabear doesn't like his team mates too much seems to hate passing ofg
Without ANY guys firing, most teams lose, Bulldogs getting a bit fat headed, this loss will probably do them good. $hillabeer needs to remember he's playing country football, not everyone in the team is a superstar. Says too much IMO. Some humility and respect is required.
