Re: ASCA 2013/14.

Yesterday Geoff 'Buckets' Lawson made 302 not out in our C grade, a phenomenal effort making it the new Association record. The C grade finished on 5 for 496 from 60 overs.

Will bat at least number 4 in the next test I reckon.

yeah or 4. thinking about it, 4 is probably the best spot for him

Agree with 4 being the best spot for him, IMO he is a natural number 4, and not number 3.

Re: 24 Balls left

When India were 3/19 yesterday the declaration at lunch to bowl India in two sessions looked like a real possibility, we were all over them and at that point what seemed like a confusing declaration that came too late looked like a masterstroke and Australia were going on to win the match. Unfortunately for Australia Kohli and Rahane were able to survive and do their best to save India from defeat, even after Pujara got out we still had a chance but Dhoni and Ashwin were able to survive and hang on for a draw. We didn't take our chances that India gave us to take more wickets and possibly win the match- drop catches/run out chances and thats the difference between a win and the draw. I would of liked for Australia to bowl those last 4 overs because anything could of happened but at the same time Australia ensured a series victory and you have to be happy with that.

Re: BBL 4 - Bryce McGain Spud XI of the series.. Nomination

Darren Sammy, never ever rated him, a miss more than hit hack and a pop gun slow pacemen that always seems to go the journey and never takes bags of wickets. Belted tonight.

Our future is looking very bleak :( As a young ASC worker, doing my apprenticeship there and a qualified tradesman for a year now I plead to the government to look after South Australian employment and provide my fellow tradesman work mates and I with future work and help ensure our working future.

Re: I need to know....

I love Steve Irwin (R.I.P) but can't stand Bindi.
Don't get me wrong, I respected the hell out of Steve, but he was just too full-on and hyperactive for my liking.

I think his kids are trying too hard to be the same way, and it's coming across as contrived.
Fair enough mate, I loved Steve's enthusiasm and it made him more interesting to watch. His full on and hyper active personality was genuine and like you mentioned Bindi is trying to hard to be the same and it does my head in.

Re: World Cup 2015

Massive f**k up by Duminy to run into Behaardien when he was about to take the catch that would of dismissed Grant Elliot.

Elliott of course gets man of the match. Nice to the see the great man Daniel Vettori out there when NZ won it and get through to a World Cup final. Carried the team for a number if years and deserves every bit of success that NZ has.

Re: Round 1 - The season opener & what it brings.

Well said Bennymacca and GWW.

This is a new Adelaide they're doing as they please. The Roos look f**king hopeless and have been dominated, they've lacked composer and haven't been able to get any clean footy.

Walker has been on absolute fire! 13 Kicks, 12 marks and 3 goals 4 behinds

Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews

The Enfield Hotel.

Great playground for the kids and they eat free but unfortunately I don't have kids.

25% off voucher meant it was $30 for two and a 6/10 schnitzel was as good as it gets there. It did look suspiciously like the coles deli variety though. Girl behind the counter may have been serving us at the wrong time of the month or perhaps gets fined for smiling.

There are 5 better pubs/clubs within a 5km radius.

Went to the Carlisle again last night, and Im thinking they might buy the schnittys from the same place. Pretty average. Ok to go grab something if I dont want to cook, but its not somewhere I would "go out for tea".

The chips tasted very old as well.

First time we went - 7/10

Last nights visit - 4/10

Have you tried the Exeter mate? Was wondering what that's like these days?
Exeter has always been a great place to eat IMO, foods always very good at a good price.
