Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

Not wearing a hat or cap all those years ago playing cricket

More melanomas taken out the scalp today, 16 stitches, gunna be a painful weekend

Got my appointment with Sundoctors this afternoon
Nothing major in the past 5 years - mainly nitrogen touch ups
The old nurse giving me a lecture about having a suntan is the worst part

Had my yearly checkup at sundoctors just recently.
In and out in 15 mins.

If anyone doesn’t get checked regularly you should!
Especially if you played out door sport growing up or as an adult.

Don’t blame the comp.
Blame SACA and Dizzy.
They choose the squad.
I can see why you would maybe choose 1 player that can’t play finals but we have several.
Unheard of in any other sport or organisation

Re: Things that make you sad.

I don’t think they are too dissimilar.

Kids could save $5k a year just by doing what we kid as kids. Take your lunch to work and don’t spend $150 a month on an iPhone 15 pro max when an iPhone 8 will do.

I’m with you.
Daily coffees, brand name clothes, yearly holidays(most overseas), every concert that comes, every sporting event, etc etc

Stop all that or at least limit it and you’ll have a deposit on a house.

Re: Gaza FC - Salary Cap Breaches

Or didn’t pay what they promised

This is why you always get it in writing. Which, if that's the case, could be a bit nasty for Gaza...

Problem with writing is that then there’s a paper trail

Which is why I think you're bang on the money, no pun intended.

Gaza promise to pay X, end up paying Y.

Players get the sads on and dob them in.

Does appear that way.

I'm not convinced SPP's "bump" is as bad or deliberate as made seem. It's a head clash between the two, but Rioli flinging him around into SPP, there isn't anywhere he can go or move really, seems to almost plant his feet and brace for impact.

SPP could have avoided contact if he really wanted to.

Re: Things that you rate!

Not quite sure where to stick this but here seems as good as place as any.

Today is my court date for divorce, I don’t have to attend but it is the end of a chapter of my life and the closing of a door that I’d left ajar for too long.

The soon to be ex-wife asked me on Monday if I wanted to go out for dinner tonight…….i wanted to say “yeah, but not with you” but couldn’t bring myself to do it, we’re still good friends and I didn’t want to be disrespectful, it’s hit hard harder this week than we both thought it would.

I must say since I got the wheels in motion I have been a completely different person, I’m loving life atm

Keep enjoying life mate

It’s just pure greed.
I go the basketball regularly at the ETC and food and drink costs less there than AO.

Captive market.
You have a choice. I cannot remember the last time i bought food at Adelaide Oval. Beer or a Bourbon, well that is a different story

True but there is a tipping point for most.
I genuinely think crowds will dwindle over the next few years as people realise there are far better experiences out there that cost less than the footy.

The AFL has/had a testing scheme that ensured their players weren't using performance enhancing drugs in competition.
And we are now outraged?

The alternative is they don't test and a heap of players are caught and serve long bans.

Test and be honest about it.
