I wonder if North fans would be defending this so vigorously if it wasn't their club.
I think we have become used to players being rested, but resting virtually half a side is not what most of us would expect.
However, if it was my side, I'd probably blindly defend it as well.
This is true, very true.
@LM, I'm not calling it tanking, not once did I call it that, I'm just amazed the AFL have gone against the very wording of their rule to prevent this happening.
Put it this way HH3, next week, would you rather play Richmond at the G or Adelaide in Adelaide?
Obviously Richmond in Melbourne but the latter was relying on us winning by 100+ or the Bulldogs losing.
Either option HIGHLY unlikely to happen.
And don't the crows have to win their game as well? At a place they haven't tasted success at for over a decade.
