West Wing - is very good.

Has anyone kept up with House of Cards?

Re: I need to know....

What did happen to the Beaumont Kids

Someone knows

the book unmasking the killer of the missing Beaumont children by Stuart Mullins and Bill Hayes says it all

Thanks locky

I'm only into the first few chapters but the setting of the 60's scene brings back memories of how we were so free and easy

Basically, we could do anything, or go anywhere, we wanted
Be back by the time the street lights are on
Police never considered looking at the establishment, professionals or clergy

Mrs Jimmy mentioned yesterday that, one day, we asked our children "what nasty people should you not talk to?"
"They wear hats and dont smile" came back the answer  That was an eye opener

Re: WEIGHT LOSS + the challenge

Week 5
-6kgs this morning 8)
So, keeping to losing a kg per week
I am lighter than anytime in 2023 - 4kgs to go

I didn't do the drastic thing.
I do enjoy the Pure Blonde ciders around the pool on the weekends

People came over yesterday
She was drinking Matso's Ginger Beer
I did a check on the sugar content after she left
Shes very fit and active but you wouldn't want to drink a lot of it
I needed insulin just reading the sugar level

Re: Black listed companies

Washing machine gave up last month

As we have done for 30+ years, we bought a Fisher & Paykel as we do with most whitegoods (despite my anti All Blacks stance)
Last washing machine lasted 20 years.

What a pile of shite. Had to get the Good Guys technician out within a fortnight
F&P now a chinese company and this thing was manuafactured there
Technician said he spends 80% of his time on F&P products - "dont buy them"

Mrs Jimmy is now going medieval on Good Guys and F&P.
I've been there - I do pity them. Best to cut your losses and give her money back: you wont win.

No more Fisher & Paykel

Re: 2024 Adelaide Footy League - Division 1

Hard first 6 weeks for Broadies Locky

Believe it or not; PAOC at home probably the easiest game

Lost some quality players, going to be an interesting season I think

At least we’ve got a forward line as long as the SANFL AFL vultures stay away
Brazzer, Davis & Brins can kick 10+ goals per game
4/4 wins yesterday was a good start

Re: The never ending No AFL in the SANFL whinge thread

It is the broken promises which is most frustrating.

The promise the play to win and to play to the line at all times was always a furphy, it was always a development tool for them (and I don't blame them) but they got in on the condition that they would respect the SANFL competition.

And they can **** off with their top up players causing havoc in other SA leagues
