What a shame that the official ladder, contaminated with results featuring AFL garbage, does not provide just reward for the Panthers' stellar season.

I reckon it's been a great, close season. The 18 round season has been good, but most importantly my team hasn't been impacted by a heap of players not even from my club.

Just sayin'.

To pre-empt any accusation of only laying blame with one party myself, I point to the depression in my wallet which used to be occupied by a club membership card. I disagree with what the club did and want no part of it.

It's not dead. The turf is Santa Ana couch, it goes dormant in the winter and the foot traffic makes it lose its colour.

Congratulations South Adelaide: pure minor premiers, and thus the best performed team by the only possible measure between properly-matched sovereign teams. What a shame - and indeed farce - that the Panthers were forced to battle from fourth position on the compromised ladder.

I might have gone to next week's game as a matter of support for the league, had it been between two proper opponents. As it is, the season is now over. Thus ends the first year under occupation from that bastard eastern league. I look forward to when the interlopers leave - for whatever reason - and Our League is restored.

I do not care to explain myself in detail; partly because I think you unwilling - or indeed incapable - of understanding, partly because I do not care what you or others think about something wjich is essentially my business, but mostly because it would waste valuable time in which I could be surfing the net for nudie pics. I will however give you this little factoid to consider: while my mob was playing a trial match in the far northwestern suburbs last year, I was sitting in the GFC clubrooms and pouring coin over the bar, supporting the club in a manner which I find acceptable.
