Give it 3 or 4 years, and Westies will hold the Blues to 0.5 at the same ground.

Hey, similar results have happened....

Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews

We tried Fasta Pasta South Tce back in early May this year (finals supper before heading back North)

Now it wasnt the best pasta I've ever eaten but for the bride and I, The Ravioli Milanese and the Tortellini Alla panna went down a treat.

I'll go back

solid 5/10

The one at Brighton goes alright.
I’m a regular there.

Re: Pure Ladder 2021

Glenelg completes its Pure season a week early undefeated at 14-zip, Pure Minor Premiers by a furlong. Hooray!

At the other end the Pure Spoon (tm) is still under contention ... Should Central succumb to the Eagles (not unlikely) and the Bloods knock off the Panthers (possible), and the sum of the points differences is a mite over 100 (ya never know), then the Dogs will inherit the woodwork.

Re: Pure Ladder 2021

The pure season comes to a close, with the Bays finishing a perfect season with a 14-zip record against dinkum teams, eclipsing the 12-zip perfect seasons achieved by the former Port team twice in the years before WWI. 8)

Compared with the degenerate official ladder we see that the Roosters have been dudded by the inclusion of results against rubbish teams; forced into an Elimination final.

Final ladder:
.............P...W...D.....F......A......%
Glenelg.....14..14...0...1242....902....57.93

Legs on top everywhere except scoreboard. No fluent Eagles movement. Stengle over the shoulder in Jim05 eyes should have gone to Redlegs.
Stengle had a free man and a chance to pass it to him but chose to be hungry and held the ball. Tackle was definitely over the shoulder, but had Stengle made the team choice in the first place then it wouldn't have been an issue.

Congratz to the Eagles. Absolutely dominant. Every single one of 'em won their position today. Glenelg outmuscled, outworked, outcoached and just plain beaten.

Hope you eagles fans enjoy your back to back flags. May the car doors be slamming well into the wee hours at Woodville tonight.

Me and my smartarse mouth.

There's a rep here that rocks up late and makes up for it by leaving early, he has a great knack of pretending to be busy while doing nothing.

I come out my office and there he is at his desk this late on a Friday so I said "Hey Shrek, is your car getting serviced?"

"Yeah mate, do you think you could drop me off to pick it up when you're finished?" He replied.

I was only trying to take the piss for why he was still here.

Tell him you rode your pushie in today and you can give him a dinkie if needed.
He's a massive unit, I'm not sure he'd know what a pushie is.

Your spotify top artists & tracks of 2021

This is embarrassing... Spotify thinks I listened to an obscure '80s track by the Electric Pandas  22 times this year, more than any other track. Given that I listen mostly to playlists on shuffle, Spotify's random number generator should take most of the blame for this.

Artists of the other top tracks: Soulwax, Cabaret Voltaire, Kool and the Gang , Kavinsky. Clearly I bend towards electronica on spotify.

Top artist Felix da Housecat? Really?? Got one of his tracks on a playlist, might have specifically listened to his stuff once or twice over the year, but more than any other?!?

Re: SANFL 2022 Season

Six clubs want the entry price risen by $5.

Raise the gate, scare away punters, sell less pies and beers. Most likely a net loss, especially since food/drink profits go straight to the clubs.

Next year will be the LAST payment of the land divestment fund (Footy park sale). $300K and it must be used to pay down debt.
About time the smears began paying their way then. They can't claim to have forgone the Magpies share of this income any longer.

Or better still, about time they fecked right off.

Was about 20 people lining up for rapid testing to work at Roxby, I was the only one there for a normal test. Done in about 5 minutes whilst the kids and Mrs sat in the car.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

I disengage from the Australia Day debate, I don't want to feel guilty celebrating a day that was always a special one growing up.

I now use it to catch up on some crap around the house, it has lost it's appeal and prestige.

I don't have the answer.

Yeah same....Australia Day used to be my favourite day of the year to celebrate my love of beer, bbq, cricket, pool/beach, music and women in bikinis. There nearly all gone now..no more cricket or music on Aussie Day and well as I reach my 40's women there is not as many women in bikinis attracted to me

Personally I would just love it moved to the first Monday of February as an example so then it isn't on an exact date as it would change each year. Then we can go about celebrating green and gold, bbq, kangaroos, boomerangs and wife beater singlets and we can **** any relevance to captain cook right off. Not that I think about any of that historic stuff on the day.

Yeah, some interesting "Aussie" points there, I don't think about Captain Cook at all on Australia Day, it was always more of Gangajang, Paul Kelly, John Willaimson and Schoumann, as kids we'd listen to Aussie anthems all day while the cricket was on, sometimes we got to go, then there was Skyshow on for the afternoon/evening.

Times have changed.
Australia Day has nothing to do with Captain Cook. Just sayin'.
