Re: I need to know....

How often do you dream at night? Every night? Couple of time a week?

How vivid are they, on a regular basis? Vivid once every now and then? Really vivid all the time?

How many do you remember in the morning? Occasionally? Always?
I had one last night. Was weird as buggery. I was in hospital and had been diagnosed with bowel cancer and the nurse was a girl I went to school with and she wanted to shave my arsehole. I ended up asking if I could do it myself in the bath and she let me do it and I ended up shitting in the bath and she had to clean it up. Bizarre.

Had any dreams though?

Re: I need to know....

Fetch just has the Netflix and Stan Apps on it. Still need to have a subscription to both services to use. Not sure if Fetch have packages which 'include' the cost of this though.
Are you sure? I'm sure we had both included as part of getting Fetch - could be wrong though, i just pay the bills.. misso sorts the rest.

I would've thought the internet usage was free, but you'd still need a Stan and Netflix account to log into (at your own cost).

Optus gives me free streaming of Netflix, Spotify, etc, but I still need my own accounts.

Re: What Game Are You Playing Now?

NFL19 and NHL19 are going cheap this month on the psn... Tossing up which one to get. Which one is better?

Madden is good. But the Franchise mode hasnt changed in 5 years, so probably just play any from 15 onwards and save your money.

NHL is good. Franchise modes got a fair bit of depth, games are fast paced and fun.

I've got both, and play NHL way more.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

I did mine at a wreckers that used to be on Grand Junction. The Friday before I was supposed to start work experience, I hadn't organised something, so the teacher and I did a quick ring around.

First day rocked up, place was a shithole. There was a weatherboard house out the back with a "Hills Have Eyes" family living in it. Two of the guys "working" there were part of that family.

They told me I could badge any car I wanted, so to appease them I did, and ditched the Ford badge of an XD in the bin at home. What the f**k am I gonna do with that?

After a week of being cold, wet and dirty, the boss (who hadn't even actually talked to me yet) called me into his office. He asked me if I was considering it a career choice after the experience, and I said "probably not."

His response was something like, "Yeah, I wouldn't either. It's shit."

Place closed down about a year later I think. Google Street View says it was a furniture place by 2008, and my WE was in 2004.

Re: Things that you rate!

Yeah I found it, and Mrs HH3 was against it until I drove her out there. Basically 15 mins from Mawson Lakes, which is where she'll be working soon, and the place is very nice at the moment.

The first display house we walked into was huge and I said, "Well, we definitely cant afford this", but we could with the land prices

Did the landscaper build in the same area? If so, our builder recommended we use him.

Ill get the details off you later. Even if we just offer him our soil and get out of paying for removal.

House as it sits on the block.

Worked a few hours in the Perth office this morning.

Then beers, burgers, cricket and frisbee with the team here.

Out to the work function tonight at a local brewery.

Re: Things that you rate!

Self guided wine tour for Mrs HH3s birthday in the Clare Valley.

She has family in Clare that we visit often, so they came along.

Two of the wineries had breweries, so I hit the beer paddles to break up the wines.

Best winery by far was Shut The Gate. The owner brought each wine to our table and gave a good overview of the wine, and an explanation of how and why each vineyard produces different grapes.

We ended up buying their most expensive bottle.

Then Indii for dinner. Never lets us down.

Re: AFLW - Womens AFL

Its obvious.

The gender pay gap means they don't earn as much as a male for the exact same job, meaning they can't afford to pay for the $100 full size Sherrin, so they get the $25 foam tackified one from Rebel. Which luckily for them, travels ok as long as you don't kick them hard.

Re: AFLW - Womens AFL

For comparison, we use two size gridiron balls 1010 (seniors) and 1005 (juniors).

The women have their own ball, which is smaller than a junior ball, made out of a stickier substance and has bumps for grip.

Its like throwing a Vortex.

Sent from my SM-N975F using Tapatalk

No Gridiron in the AFLW thanks.

Having said that, How many female teams in SA play gridiron?
Are there many?

LFL LFL died before it started in Adelaide. There was a team, but they never played a proper game.

A few of the girls are involved with the Spartans now.

Theres no league. Some of the girls we train got to play for NSW in the last Womens Australian Gridiron League. They are currently training again to try to join in this years one.

Vic, NSW, Qld and WA all have womens leagues and state rep teams.

Re: What Game Are You Playing Now?

Ive been smashing Formula 1 2020 for the last month or so.

MyTeam adds a few layers to the career mode. Ive put that on ice for a bit because my cars still shithouse in the second season.

Ive started a normal career mode, starting a full season of Formula 2 with no rewinds. See how I go.

Also, I was in a Gran Turismo league for a while, which was run very well with live streams with commentary, 5 divisions, about 100 entrants every Sunday. In the end couldnt commit the time on a Sunday night.

Re: What Game Are You Playing Now?

I invested in a Logitech G29 Racing Wheel and frame to use up to my couch.

Combined with a new 75inch TV, my setup isnt bad.

The change from controller (which Im decent on) to wheel and pedals is a slow learning process.

Having the wheel fight you, and feeling things like bumps, puddles, ripple strips, and the front wheel leaving the track on a apex taken too sharp has ruined many a race so far.

Project Cars 2 is what Im putting most of my time into. It seems like the most realistic, and challenging to get right. No rewind feature also makes every corner or overtake attempt much more stressfull.

Ive had to learn how to set a car up too. No default settings. The Carrera and GT86 Rocketbunnys were both impossible until I learnt about anti-rollbar setting and rear tyre pressures.

Gran Turismo Sport is good for a fang. I can jump online and compete without it being too punishing. Late braking and lockups don't send the back of the car around like PC2, so Im more confident.

F1 2020 is tough. The main issue is having to re-center the wheel coming out of a corner. Once the rythm is off, I basically have to slow right down to get back in sync.

All in all, a good investment. Really opened my eyes to how hard drivers fight the car the whole time.
