Re: Aus v Ind Test Series

Dhoni needs a drink after facing 8 balls WTF??

too much of that going on, Indian batsman were having drinks 2nd over after tea for 8 overs straight, absolute joke

Make the batsman go to the boundary to get what they need. They won't be wanting things every second over if they have to expend energy jogging there and back

With Ferguson overlooked again, is that curtains on his ODi career? Pretty unlucky if so. Has been solid in the limited overs format over the years.
Probably about as stiff as James Hopes

I don't get how anyone thinks Ferguson is a gun.

He plays at Adelaide Oval which has become a road and still cannot deliver.
Prob a nice lad but not international standard unless he played for Holland.

ODI average of 41 shows before he got injured he was intentional standard

Has anyone heard from Shahin since the court case? I'm worried for him. Hopefully he is seeking counselling to deal with the 'Nam like flashbacks he'd be having on a nightly basis of his brutal beating at the hands of the constabulary. He is Australia's own Rodney King, poor guy

Re: QLD Election

Queenslanders will have an uncertain future from here

Labor leader was asked a question about the GST on radio and she got the answer wrong. If a polly trying to lead a state can not or does not know the GST rate here in Australia which has not changed then some questions need to be asked. She was a minister involved in the QLD health debacle of the previous labor government only 3 years ago which saw some health workers not get paid for months, and some get 3 months of pay in one week pay cheque.

The state will borrow so much money to fund projects and the cycle will return to what it was whilst Anna Bligh was in power 3 years ago. I give it 3 months and we will see the bumper sticker "don't blame me I voted lnp"

Not a very clear future for queensland here at all...

But this is a wake up call to Tony abbott which will be out on his arse in the next election if he makes it that far. Shows that the voting public have the say in way things are done now days and any lying and broken promises are frowned apon

Probably a good idea to not ask the federal treasurer how income tax brackets work

Things that give you the sh1ts

The video of the ute driver on the southern expressway overtaking on the emergency lane and then slamming on the brakes.

Unfortunately this behavior is far too common on the Expressway and even on the Lonsdale highway, particularly the 100kmh zone

yes was stupid for him to do that but the driver hogging the right hand lane.

Simple road rule which a lot don't seem to follow or understand
- KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING!!

If people did the speed limit then this would not occur but yes stupid for that idiot to do that
Agree.

You should try driving in Melbourne. I've been on the Eastlink & been stuck behind 4 cars side by side taking up all lanes doing 95 in the 100 zones, F***ing frustrating, then you finally get to overtake them, come to some roadworks that say 80kmh, slow down & the C***s overtake you back.

If 5km/h frustrates you that much, leave home 30 seconds earlier, learn how to deal with your anger better, or just don't drive

Re: Bali Nine - is the death penalty justice?

8.3kg of heroin. They were found to be the ringleaders. They knew the death penalty applies if caught. They all used false names while over in Bali to hide what they were doing.

I feel sorry for their family, of course, but these scum deserve no sympathy.

What people personally think of the death penalty is completely irrelevant.

Re: Rnd 4 - Norwood v Port @ Adelaide Oval (Fri N 24/4)

One thing I'll say about Butcher, we'd be a much better team if the likes of Harvey and Shaw put in the same effort that Butcher does.

The biff in the first quarter was great too, Norwood player goes down like he's been decked and people tried to take Butch on, who got a good punch in then ragdolled a couple of Norwood players who tried to take him on

Re: Bali Nine - is the death penalty justice?

Exactly. I'm sure they were kind and compassionate towards the people they were making do their dirty work. You don't become the leaders of a drug trafficking ring with a softly softly approach.

I'm not in favour of the death penalty because a lot of innocent people end up getting killed. These two people aren't in that category

Re: Have you tried................?

we use the butcher at the plaza near woolworths and do the same thing

I rate that butcher, but if anyone has any better butches let me know
may give them a crack, I live in north gate so around that area would be preferred.
Gawler River Cattle have a shop near Target in Sefton, they have decent specials, the one at Mawson Lakes has a great range of chicken schnitty's at a decent price.

I go to Gawler River Cattle Co. at Angle Vale. I've never been disappointed with their meats or their service.

Been there a few times, definitely worth the drive

Enjoyed Modbury and Tea Tree Gully though, a better quality mud.

Re: Round 10 stuff

It's irrelevant where teams are on the ladder now, if a team is in the top 4 now because they've only played easier teams, so be it, the harder teams will come and they'll slide down the ladder. A team that's played a lot of harder teams early might be sitting out of the 8 but soon enough they'll be playing lower ranked teams and will make their way up the ladder
