Re: Most Exciting Players in the game

Adrian McAdam's 17 games in his debut season of 1993 were unbelievable, returning 68 goals including 23 in his first 3 matches.
He was something else - but as spectacular as his arrival to the big time was, 1993 was it for him.
Could barely get near it in '94-'95

Re: Glenelg extend coach's contract.

Firstly, the thread title is incorrect- but given the author it's no great surprise.
The players actions yesterday spoke a thousand words.
Apart from the West game debacle, only one bad quarter has cost them in every other game this season.
If they stick to, and believe the direction & planning, they can finish the year with a few more wins & aim higher next year.

Not yet.

Where are some glenelg posters gone. A bloke running for council who was quite abusive at games ? Didja only posted non footy stuff obviously .

Re: Things that make you laugh

People are so hypocritical though. They long for people with personality that make the sport watchable, then cut them down when they do something out of the ordinary.

Do we want to watch two robots go at it? Raonic looked like he was asleep when he was playing. If his serve wasnt faster than the speed of sound he would be boring as batshit to watch.

There's a big difference between 'having personality' and 'being a douche' though...
This site is testament to that...

Re: Geelong 2015

The equalisation tax is a joke.
^This so much.
Once again punishing the clubs who work their arse off and do the right thing.
Bullshit. You honestly think clubs don't work their arses off?
I tell you what, take prime time games, ANZAC Day games, Queens Birthday games, Friday nights etc away from certain clubs & give them to the Western Bulldogs, North, Port, St Kilda, and then give the Essendons, Collingwoods, Carltons & Richmonds the Saturday twilight, early Sunday & Sunday twilight games for 4 or 5 years in a row - then see how "working your arse off" goes.
Sponsors will drop off real quick, as will memberships.
Of course this will never happen, the AFL won't allow it.
This tax is their way of saying "we know the fixture is unfair, we know we pander to certain clubs, but we'll implement this tax to at least look like we're attempting some sort of even playing field" - yeah right.

In a period where footy has lost Dean Bailey, Robbie Flower & Phil Walsh to name just a few, I wholeheartedly rate the clean bill of health that Choco Williams has been given. The footage from Punt Rd where he told the Richmond playing group the news (and their response) was magnificent.

The cricket is back tonight :partyman:

Hooray! I have an interesting situation tonight where the brother in law and his missus are coming over for dinner. My missus and his missus reckon The Batchelor is going to be on the big screen. I have told my missus that the only way they will be watching Batchelor is if he is the new number 3 for England.

Interesting times ahead.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

F**k wits who think the minute it rains all speed limits drop by 25kms an hour. If you can't drive in the wet stay off the f**king road. Idiots

Or you could just have a bit of respect for other road users that want to drive at a speed they are comfortable with and you could just leave a bit earlier!!
Sorry, if you're not comfortable driving to the speed limit, you are a liability & should not be on the road.

I just got beeped by some bitch for slowing down to pull into my driveway.

People like that who can't control their emotions while driving are the dangerous ones.

Her trip home was literally extended by 2-3 seconds. She was also firmly in my butthole the whole way up my street.
Maybe it had nothing to do with your driving and more to do with the fact that you're a f#cktard.

Re: Round 20 and it's getting fair dinkum

West Coast have touched up Sydney, now touched up Freo & really should've beaten Hawthorn. Nic Nat to come back and yet they are still being doubted to beat the Dogs & Crows let alone give the flag a shake? Give me a spell. This lot are the real deal - more resilience than any team in the comp.
Second spot is theirs if they want. WB in Perth this week, yes they're going well (at Etihad albeit) but get them on Subiaco and it may be a different story. The Crows the following week in Adelaide who still haven't beaten anyone of note yet.
The Eagles are in it up to their necks.
