Re: Abbott/Liberal Govt Watch

The issue is also she doesnt believe she has done anything wrong. That is what he resignation has said, for the love of Parliament. Really she needs to ba up a bit and say yep I stuffed up and as such stepping down. But it just shows how much power she has in the Liberal party as the PM still wont say she has done anything wrong. Just the arrogance to allow this to go on for so long and still believe they were in the right just shows where the country is at.

As I said before the media tasted blood and they wont stop digging now. Who knows when it will end.

So now we have a government in choas, which has lost its speaker and lost its way.

So now the age on entitlement is over.

So now its time for the heavy lifting to begin.

They are so out of touch with reality this mob.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts

I'm not that naive. Quite experienced, actually.

My kids have been to two public schools, both went to the same primary and high schools.

The primary school was spineless and I can confirm that the education department ( their bosses, as you say ) felt the school was best positioned to handle the matter. Great. So my advice to my son was to handle it how he felt it best handled, the school was hopeless. He got in trouble once, the kid(s) never picked on the target again. ( He stood up for a special needs kid who was being bullied. He got in the shit for doing so, the next time it happened he stood up for her again, he got in the shit again, the kid(s) doing it never did it again. Made me one proud Dad and I'd tell him to do it again if he felt it was the right thing to do )

The High School, on the other hand, has been outstanding. One little **** king hit my 14 year old daughter earlier this year. simply out of the blue, unprovoked, king hit, a badly bruised face, suspected but not confirmed hairline (due to teeth/jaw line in the x-ray) fracture and several days of headaches and the pshycological effects followed. I couldn't have been happier with the school or prouder of my daughter. She is presenting a talk to the whole school ( 700+ kids ) later this term on the impact of physical violence and bullying.

So, I'm not naive and every case has it's own set of circumstances, but to just say "CC in the bosses", please, don't be so naive. ;)
Some good advise there boon. Seriously thanks for sharing it.

No its not. Whats its like is that 2 weeks after your assistant coach says goodbye to his son who was killed in a car accident due to a drunk driver, your captain has few drinks and drives.

Spin it however you like. But there it is.

So it would be ok then if Rattens Lad didn't pass a couple a weeks ago?
Nope. But this is just worse for the club. Still a stupid thing to do.

Even when he was here in SA announcing good news he would still go back to blaming the previous government and having a crack. It took away a bit of the positive of what he was saying.

We stopped the boats, yes we get it. Great, how about our piece of shit economy, nation debt, unemployment going north?

That's ok, we stopped the boats and the previous government blah blah blah.

Re: Things that you rate!

Getting a mention in Federal Parliament this week.
Mrs DW winning $1000 worth of groceries.
My eldest daughter winning the #SANFLselfies competition this week.

It's been a good week.

Well done. It has been a good week:

My week:

* Receive the Certificate of Merit from the SAAFL for services to the league.
* Get to work the next day to find a $100 eftpos card on my desk from a travel incentive I won from one of our travel suppliers.
* Work gives me practically a whole table to the SANFL grand final chairmans lunch because no one in the marketing department wants to go.
* Today I win $300 in Best Western accommodation vouchers for another competition to "design your ideal SA holiday" - My short holiday package will be on the website to purchase as a package in coming months. 8)

Add to this - I'm on holidays for a week as of 4.30pm! WINNING! [emoji38]

Regardless of the events that followed him to the final parts of his career he was a brilliant player. So versatile, could play on ball, ruck or as a key forward. Quite extraordinarily really if you think of it. Hiw many players were able to play like that?

Work and office politics.

To be more specific a certain useless prick whos best skill is talking shit who was my direct manager got a promotion. Ok so its a coincidence only that his good mate was the manager above and had final say. Lol, now I know this guy is full of crap, all talk no action but I genuinely keep my mouth shut as it would only hurt me down the track to speak out. What makes me laugh is over hearing a few other staff members saying exactly that as to how full of it he is. All bluster was the term used.

Very funny now a larger portion of people can enjoy his ability to talk. And me well I'll just sit back and watch it all unfold. At the end of the day I'll get my job done and I'll do it as well as I can, but this will be fun to watch.
