Re: Southern Football League

Mountain out of molehill guys. Lads that have played SFL since juniors as well as regular finals would have played 20 plus times on most SFL grounds. Melbourne FC dominated the VFL in the 50 s and 60s when they were the only MCG tenant yet played all finals at "home". All you are doing is creating a lame excuse if you lose but a bit sweeter if you win.

As Malcolm Blight used to say ...there are goals at either end off the ground and grass in the middle .
so if your any good on the day who cares where you play ....bring on the finals......

Re: New Clubs for 2017

Ewwwww.

No over the hillers should be allowed until the Torrens to Torrens is finished  ;)

30 minutes from the CBD
50 minutes from Carrickalinga

That's a YES vote from Jimmy

Reynella, Flaggies, OSBL, Happy Valley, Cove all about 10/15 mins Drive from Morphy Pks / Brighton .....
Once the Darlington upgrade is finished even quicker ..... our longest drive from Roos to Smithfield was only 45 min .....
9 days on the road in 365 days ain't that hard .....

Re: Adelaide Footy League D7 - 2017

Mitchell Park had our Black Tie Ball on Saturday night – great night! The best bit was…

Our President, Shane Lynch, announced that our Senior Coach, Wayne Knowles, and the club have come to an early agreement to honour the second year of the coaching contract and continue on together in 2018. The response from everyone attending the function speaks volumes to the popularity of not only the news that we have finally managed to have a coach stay for more than one year (for the first time since Wayne Wyld) but also the job that Wayne has done with us in his short time.

Many of us know Wayne as he has coached at this level for a long time (one of the biggest reasons we recruited him) but I think he quickly realised that Mitchell Park is a bit different. In good ways and bad. His ability to build relationships with all stakeholders (players, supporters and committee) and turn that into a real buy in has been outstanding. Wayne has integrated in perfectly with the club and has identified numerous opportunities to provide us with sustainability, cultural change and ultimately on field success.

Still a lot of work to do, years of it in fact, but I think we have the off field team to deliver it.

Do you guys only like Wayne's?

My U16's coach at MP was Wayne Vitnell

Interesting man Mr Vitnell .....did his wife take your picture ..... talked himself up a bit ......

Re: SANFL Junior codes

The Morphettville Park Football Club would like to publicly
thank the Broadview Football Club for their help and understanding
in dealing with the tragic situation that our U/16 girls and U/16.5 boys
had to deal with with the loss off their friend and classmate in the tragic accident
that occurred Saturday night, Many girls only found out Sunday morning
and were to upset to play, the boys had a bit more time to understand and decided to play
in respect to their friend.
Thank you Broadview Football Club players, parents, supporters and officials and all involved
we at the ROOS appreciate your understanding and support

Thank You

Re: 2021 Adel Footy League - Division 4

Bgrade on the weekend at Morphy Pks who ever records their goal kickers either needs their eyes checked or they are playing games. No.31 kicked at least 3 goals and is down for none.

Good set up down there though with the new clubrooms and changerooms and the jugs of beer after were much appreciated.

Correct kicked 3, had a jumper change b4 game 28 to 31, not updated on results,
