Forgetting the crowd figure, the smartphone excuse is a cop out. If you are in the minority of football supporters & don’t have one, you would have to have a relative/friend/workmate/carer who has a device they could’ve lent you for the day.
I suspect that a printout of the QR code would work as well as a smartphone.

I was also near the original scoreboard at Woodville on Father's Day. Disgraceful behaviour from a group of North Adelaide people that are old enough to know better.
