Another tricky race here.

#1 is mainly favourite due to the box draw. Has been consistently finding trouble of late. Willing to risk here given the odds.
GAMBOA is in great form and LS Ballarat was a great run. If can repeat that surely jumps on the lead outside the 4 and will be stronger int he run. 5,8 slow beg then muster strong. Sure the box is dream for the favourite, but just potential to begin fairly and get behind others is there.

For mine a tricky race to line them up except finding the top rating.
#2 looks the leader and drawn to get all the breaks, will keep #3 out early who will want to go wide, this could hamper the 9,8 chances early as they get stuck wide. #4 does race well at Sandown for mine and drawn to get a nice sit on the rail early and with 2,3 drifting out, looks to get clear racing room and enjoys the rail. #1 is out of form for mine, can get fair way back and needs momentum to do best. #9 hit/mess. #6 always finds trouble, but keeps trying.

#3 is in form and if gets the rail early will be hard to hold out for mine, will drift wide exiting the bend and run on. #6 does need to cross and lead here, but will have 3,4 underneath potentially to keep outwide at first bend. If can't cross will be wide and weaken for mine. #1 faces an easier field than recent but cuts out wide early and really needs that room outwide to do best. #7 slow and mad railer on the bend and will run home, looks to get plenty of luck here as others will be drifting wide. Doesn't win often, but looks value place.

Really sorry to read that MT, definitely a difficult time. I hope Mrs MT is able to find a replacement income/passion as quickly as possible.

I know those comments don't help improve the situation at all, but it is all I can offer.

My small brain opinion.

1) Maintaining low currency (currently 0.5780 against USD - did bottom at 0.5530 yesterday) will benefit Australia as foreign investment into our cheap products drives employment and inflation. I estimate China will be rebounding quickly from this situation and cheap imports will help surge their silk road project along. Plus they have gotten use to domestic demand from the trade war and their lift of the one child policy means China are perfectly placed to lift Australia out of this economic hole.

2) Federal Government raises most of it's revenue through income tax. By cutting company tax rates immediately we can help encourage employers to hold onto employees. We know special dispensation is allowed for certain agriculture businesses who receive tax relief in drought and can hold over profits in good years to help assist in leaner years.

3) Split the stimulus package. Based on your income assessment situation the stimulus package is to go per household.
A) Households with over 180k incomes can have access to a special superannuation withdrawal of $5,000-$10,000 to encourage spending. On the proviso that within the next 3 years the money must be returned back into the account via salary sacrificing.
B) Households with less than 180k income receive Government cash stimulus package of $2,500-$5,000.

4) Each council is given extra staff members who are familiar with online banking + payments. And are the sole point of contract for small businesses who need assistance with set-up for online payments. We need to encourage small businesses to have access to payment/sales platforms immediately.

5) Hospitals + Local GP Practitioners etc What can we do there?

Team-work is going to be required to manage this. Team as a family. Team as a community.

2 ----------------- First few steps are the risky part, needs to cross the 1 before bend, will be exploding mid race on rail
3 ----------------------Pings and crosses but peaks
4 ---------------- Explodes mid race and got the gun draw with pace inside moving to rail and slow outside pushing wide
5 ------ Slow and wants wide
6 ----------------Pushes wide and tentative into bend
7-----------------Lost early zip and will want rail ,6 may stop
8 -----------------------Loves sale pings and best draw to sweep around them here. Needs too find spot outside 3 I agree, think 8 is a strong hope here.

A tricky race and very open for mine. I think all things considering #1 is drawn well and may get some luck on the rails. #4 needs to really ping here and lead. Hard for the wide draws, 6 can be a beast chasing runners and sure to cause some drama mid race.

Overall the most important part, is that enough revenue from betting turnover ends back up in the racing industry to secure its future.

I'm purely talking from a greyhound racing perspective, never look at anything else.

Even with no sports betting happening, tote pools are terrible. Meanwhile betfair is booming. The punters are there, clearly. They just don't want to place a bet in a market where they don't know what odds they will get or bet into 121-123% fixed odds market when they are use to sports betting fixed odds market of 105-107%.

I feel that even if you were to merge all the pools to increase liquidity on paper, the punters mindset has shifted enough to fixed odds and pools will still grind lower over time.
