You and drebin never let us down when you're defending the indefensible, Wedgie.

Your last refuge is always to pick out a totally irrelevant point of grammar, mix it with a bit of abuse, and hey presto!, you've triumphed again.

I said the mini-league will be back and North was a major instigator of the original decision to get rid of it. That's all.

Waffle on as much as you like, them's the facts.

Its not new, did it a couple of years ago to appease the christians.
Its a sign of our respect in the community when so many have chip on their shoulder about us, I hate to think what would happen if god forbid we were actually successful in winning a flag, there'd be rioting in the streets!
Still, better than being a club that's everyone's second favourite as that usually means they're harmless and not doing their job.

I don't know why you keep going on about the mini league being back as noone is disupiting that. Fact, to I think, I know, to a fact again, you never cease to amaze mate! (I think you should have stuck with "I think" as you were on the money there and had a defensible position) Someone's defending the indefensible mate and it aint me!

I did say "please" if we could get off your ramblings and back to the topic raised. I'll ask nicely again. Please?

Any news on if it will be implemented like Phil H mooted at Noarlunga (and some other clubs were looking at doing) or if it will be in its original format or the more recent format? Also, will any club that had looked at organising their own mini league organising appropraite sponsors, events etc be looking at any sort of compensation? Must be hard for the clubs to work under the SANFL when things are chopped and changed all the time, a pretty thankless job too I'd imagine.

Seen it, groundbreaking stuff!
Similar type of storyline to the old 50's E.C. Comics 'Tales frpm the Crypt/Vault of Horror' etc.
what also undoubtedly borrowed ideas from that classic film!
The Ramones a pop-culture icon as well, are also in the same boat...
Incidentally every Stephen King film has a reference to the legendary New York quartet! :prayer:

...What happened to the 'Mini League' thread? :?

No Wedgie, I haven't made any comment about your post, you may well be right.

Christ, its a sad state of affairs for 8 clubs if you're on the money then, I hope for your those clubs sake you aren't.

Anywhere we can start a petition to uphold the original decision? I was looking forward to having a kick with the kids at half time over the the full size of the oval encouraging more kids to come and watch the SANFL on a consistent basis as opposed to appealing to some kids that come once in a lifetime, leave after half time and never come back! :)
You're better off having a kick after the game as there is less people on the oval than at the other breaks. Many a time that Giffojnr and myself have been asked to leave by security because it's getting dark/they want to close up.

There's one thing sure & certain Weginald, no matter how keen young Matty is for a kick & a catch at half time it'll be nothing compared to his exitement at pulling on a jumper, any jumper, North South St...(no thats just silly) to play mini league. I'll bet you all you like that the last thing he or any of his mates or parents want to see is a horde of people kicking balls on the sidelines. Give it back to them, full ground, with all the glory.

Says you who spends all the half time break drinking, smoking and leading topics of conversation that most people would be "'certified"' for! The only time you watch the mini-league is to pay out the telly-tubby sized kids!

So someone other than me has noticed that too. Goes to show what happens when the coach and his assistant brother are role models.

Now down at the bay its because, well better leave that one.

That was my effort to stop Weginald having a kick to kick at half time & embarrassing himself in front of his children. I'd say that was the reason it was bought back.
Anyway, who are you?, how do you know me? is that you Muttley
