Its even ludicrous to suggest otherwise and a slur on Bens professionalism and character. We all agree its a great cause but the line has to be and will be drawn somewhere.

Sometimes we get so sensitive about the SANFL and our perception that everyone has turned their back on it that we get this huge chip on our shoulders and start to see demons and threats that just aren't there.

Why not have the Slowdown this weekend each year? No AFL to compete with and now that it is held at AAMI Stadium there is no issue with cricket.

Cheers mate, I knew you'd like that, twas shocked to hear he has a planned overseas jaunt when the GF is on, rest assured our champion Barrie R will be there if we make it unlike your unloyal mob!
I take that back, Cornsey's loyal, he just has no faith in the Glenelg Footy Club this year, and fair enough too.

1, how would they workout monies to the charity ? perhaps add an extra $2.00 at the gate/on the ticket
2, how would the league look if there was 50,000 there at 1.30pm & by 2.30pm there was only 20,000 there ? that wouldn't be a good advertisment for the league

The Slowdown has nothing to do with the SANFL and, as a Charity event, Tony & Chris are entitled to run it at a time that raises the most money for the sick kids, not when it suits the SANFL. It's no different to any other event that is on at that time of year (and there are a lot in spring) - do we want everything in Adelaide cancelled for the SANFL finals?
