Not sure of his age but looks a big boy and got a few touches..Ok he wasn't a match
winner , but i can see him improving as the weeks go by.
As much as i hate Port Power i think they know how to recruit and they see something
in Willits.

wests gain, glenelgs loss. However the bay fans wont admit to that.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

At the end of the day i dont care where he plays.
Because if the Power really think something of him, he is more likely going to be playing for them more so than for his SANFL club.
As a Glenelg supporter i would rather have someone that wants to be playing for you, not someone who is going to whinge because he is not playing where he wants, or where his AFL team want him to play.
It gives other players in the reserves a chance top play firsts this year.

Big game this week at Prospect, word going around the SANFL is there will be yet another cup, this one will be full of beer and called the "Battle of the Boozers"!
To get into the spirit of the day spectators are invited to the southern bar also known as the Taj Mahal to have an off field booze contest too.

This $1000 bet almost deserves a thread of its own.

Be interesting to see the feelings of those involved as the season progresses...

Sturt1 is not coming good with the coin, as we have said before Bayman and I are ready willing and able and have our $1k each to give to a neutral observer now to get this in place. He just doesnt/cant commit to the bet, he simply wants to look good and demand the cash if Sturt do finish ahead of the bays...not good enough, put up or shut up...

i should retract that statement i said before about glenelgs gain and westies loss, if the folk at broadspectrum are happy to have him then id say it was a win-win situation.

Great career move for Willits, atleast hes gone to a club with some premiership success. In saying that going to any of the other clubs would have given him that.

Since 1921, the same time as we entered the competition, West have won the same amount of flags as us..

Maybe we are to West, what Woodville was to Torrens given we arguably took up a part of what would have been their old zone (the Western suburbs) when we were created.

Given the enfente terrible of the western suburbs matches the amount of flags our "big brother" has won since 1921 but we have played in more GFs (16 v 13) one could say little brother has out performed big brother since 1921....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
