GET IT RIGHT PAUL BLANDIS

Postby bayman » Sat Apr 21, 2007 11:14 pm

paul, when commentating & your not sure how much time is left please say we've played xxx minutes in the quarter, not guess & say 'there is almost 4 minutes left' which infact there was about 20 seconds left when you said it today, i & a few others around me all said 'well we still have time' when hearing it, i understand it can get emotional at times but spare a thought for everyone listening as we all presumed that the timekeepers had told you there was almost 4 minutes left, i'm not trying to come at you in the form of criticism just what can help us all in other games in the future

thanks bayman

Im Paul's biggest critic but I must admit I was suprised how short the last quarter was, I went to get a beer at the 20 min mark expecting another 10 mins of play the siren went when I was walking back to my place.

ironically i was at noarlunga & was listening to lifefm to get a score from alberton & john nankerville says the scores etc just before 3/4 time he then states that there wouldn't be much time left in the quarter without giving the listeners the wrong info etc (or something like that i think john has read this post  )

Hmmm... a missing ten minutes. Sounds like a simple case of alien abduction. Better check your rectum in case they left a probe (dare I say it?) ...behind.
