My local fish n chippie was always decked out in Sturt colours too - sad it closed down recently.

in craigmore, the local butcher was a sturt man too, used to have the team photo and everything up in his shop....after the 02 gf, his business went down a bit ;)

my wife manages a video store on Unley Rd (there are only 2) and she jazzed the shop up during GF week in 02 with double blue streamers and balloons
looked fantastic and went down well with some of the locals

It could be tough Rooster Meat on serve at the Northern Tavern if you don't outlast a dynamic Panther outfit. :P :P :P

Yeah, I forgot that Sturts crowds were just as big in the early 90s as they are now or were in 2002 and noone went to North games in the early 20002 and there was no march that got over 2000 people walking down Main North Rd when our club was all but dead.
Dude whatever you smoke I want some, PM me letting me know your dealer.

Wedgie I think you will find that a Sturt port gf in 1976 had the largest SANFL crowd ever and a Sturt port gf in 1998 was the last SANFL sellout. I understand that the north port gf in 1989 had a big crowd but lets leave it at that.

Its quite obvious that its port who has the biggest BW.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

It was a clever play on words as he only does it at the start of each season when Sturt are still in the running and he's a butcher.
FFS Im glad most Sturt supporters worked it out, real range in IQ down at Unley.
And why do you or sp have to start talking about North in a Sturt topic?
Start a new topic if you feel the need instead of railroading a good news SANFL story that I start.

Wedgie, Sturt supporters have no trouble hijacking a North v South thread so talking about North in a Sturt thread isn't that surprising  And as if sturtpeter needs any encouragement to start a new thread about Sturt
