CHAD OSULLIVAN

Where is he ?
Played exceptionally well in his debut season in the SANFL
Was probably the best contributor for the club in 2006
He has been playing B grade
CD undefeated in 2007, but surley he is in the best 21 most talented at the club
Both Punk + I thought he was CD best player last year.

Is there a problem perhaps ?

Chad had alot groin problems over preseason which never improved. They were later diagnosed as small tears in his abductor which were only operated on in Feb.

He has played the last two games in the reserves. Reportedly high up in the best players in todays game according to one of the other reserves player i spoke to.

Hopefully to resume this friday night against the legs.

Scary thought that the Dogs are probably only going to get stronger as the year progresses. :?
Looks like they're be playing daylight in the Grand Final.

I think DUCKER might be right, if he has had groin probs, that seems
a reasonable explanation as to his unavailability.
Just wait and see if hes included in the team soon before anymore speculation.

Who do you think would be dropped for these guys to come in.I would probably say Musolino and Hayes are easy options, but after that it gets harder.

Would not consider Hayes an easy drop to make way for anyone. He is a very solid defender, whom we need. How did Cowans pull up from his injury? Also, will Wilson be okay to play?
As for predicting GF number 8, it is far too early to make that call. Last year we were written off at this stage of the season. A football season is a marathon - it requires being set perfectly for September and October, not just for now.
However, if we do make 8 in a row, will that not be an SANFL record?

Cheers!

PAP might make the decision for us with Symes and Cowans shoulder is unknown. Whoever misses out would be extremely unlucky as all have been holding their spots well.

I think you will find the dogs line-up friday night will have three changes with

INS: O'Sullivan, Graham, Wilson

OUTS: Symes, Cowan, Hayes

This would change though if Giles is fit and they decide to play two ruckmen un-like last week, IMHO 2 ruckmen is an absolute must against the better teams like Port and North so Giles could do with all the game time we can give him in the league, before he comes up against the better ruckmen of this comp.

The conditions will also be an issue. Last week was wet and you want a greater emphasis on smalls in wet and muddy conditions.
We used to be good :-(

agree doggies4eva but i guess im old fashioned in that i would play 2 ruckmen no matter what the conditions. Especially considering MacKenzie who is all heart and an absolute trier is not exactly the fittest and most athletic big man around. I think it showed late in the game when Glenelg kicked three on a trot all from centre clearances because MacKenzie couldn't get up no more. I think he might get exposed against the better teams like Lindsay did against us in those Grand Finals in 2004-2005 and dare i say Lindsay has a fair bit on MacKenzie at that stage.

I think we're in a superb position to be able to platy our finals game plan without worrying about picking up games here and there to make the finals. I'd like us to try to pick a team as close as possible to what we would like to run out in the finals and let them try to win in all conditions. IMHO our ruckmen are good value in the wet compared with many others in the league and our in and under players just excel when it's a bit slippery.
