Centrals pose terrorist threat to our way of life

CHOCOLATE and photos are on the list of things Terry Hicks might take his son David when he visits him in prison.

Speaking about their anticipated reunion, Mr Hicks said he was not sure if he would be able to take anything to his son or what he would want.
"Things have changed over five years," he said. "I don't know what he likes any more. We won't know until we speak to him and he can tell us what he wants."

However, Mr Hicks said David, 31, was "a chocolate fan" before his arrest for fighting alongside the Taliban in Afghanistan in late December, 2001.

"He had his Vegemite while he was there (at Guantanamo), (US military lawyer) Major Mori gave him some of that," he said. "I should say he'll want photos though."

Mr Hicks said David was also a Central District football supporter. "I did update him as much as I could on the football but he might like soccer now for all I know," he said.

I am of course joking.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'

I can remember seeing Terry around Elizabeth.
He was also involved in junior footy in the Salisbury area too.

I wonder if it would have been worth a mention if he had been a Crows supporter or a Norwood supporter?

Coached our primary school footy team at Salisbury Park, always tipped me 20 cents when I collected his newspaper money too - as I said before, top bloke (got me a fair stash of mixed lollies with the tips!).

Terry is a great man, that has helped all the U17 and U19's at Centrals for years.

He spends alot of his free time to help and any club would be happy to have a man that is so kind and friendly.
He supports all the kids and helps them all to feel good about their football.

I for one are happy to have meet him and happy for him that his son is home at last.
