When Prokepec went off Gregory went off too. Weird. Maybe they went to find a pie cart together.
"A no vote from any club means there is some sort of risk involved in our entry into the competition not working," Steven Trigg.

I wonder why west persevere with propokeg, he seems unable to do much. He is nowhere near the calibre of the great big full forwards - dennis sasche and grenville dietrich. Proprokeg has only kicked 60 odd goals in about 3 games, not great for a full forward.

Even the Jumbo Princes of yesteryear (Darley and Davies) were better - faster and able to take marks!

With that ratio, we'll have him at prospect

I think he meant 30 games but yeah :)

proko was a good player for the dogs 2's but just cant seem to get down to a weight thats needed to succeed fitness wise at sanfl level.

i think west can find a more suitable ff for next year.

I don't think you need the adverb "even" there when talking about the great Rick Davies. I don't think there would be many greater full forwards from any era, anywhere in Australia than him.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Good win by the Boys. Didnt let up when we got 5 goals down as last year we would of let it get away.

I thought Luke Crane was best on ground - another great find by the recruiting staff.
It is what it is !!!

Anywhere in Aus and any era. I can name a few.

Ken Farmer
Gordon Coventry
Tony Lockett
John Coleman
Toss up between Jumbo and Scott Hodges.

Not taking anything away from Jumbo he was a great FF.

Fantastic effort by a wonderfully coached side.

Ricky you're a legend mate :) :)

Luke Crane's as courageous as they come and Darling oozes class. Nelson was sensational, Evan Hurse is a star on the horizon as I predicted in Phil's 2006 SA Media Guide 8) 8)

Benny Eckermann will play league soon after a courageous effort in the Reserves.

"Madness," although lacking match time did some awesome work for us.

I'd expect either Thurstans or De Luca or both back against the Panthers next Sunday.

Great night back at the Club and after Bar Zaar. Coady although suffering that serious injury was well and truly into the "Spirit" of the night lol.

I have a new hero. Luke Crane, a player with a heart and determination twice his small size.

Go U Blues! 8) :) :D :D

P.S.

Apologies to Chambo. It was a credit to you after you were man-handled just after the start of the game. Goal Umpire at the City End should have stepped in. It could've become ugly but Chambo, the gentleman he is 8) hurt West on the scoreboard and could easily have bagged 10.

Sturt are the real deal so beware other sides who take us lightly.

I agree HBT. I meant my post literally though. Your list is a few, not many. I think if Rick could squeeze into if not the top 5 then at least the top 10 full forwards from anywhere in the country, or any era then it is a sensational feat for somebody who played most of his career as a ruckman, and only went up forward to finish off his career.

Good call sturtpeter, also Thomo was huge in the last quarter. He injured himself but still played on and helped turn the game for us.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.
