Classic. :D

Was interested to consider if the coaching pathway these days is

AFL player to SANFL coach
SANFL player to SANFL coach
Reserves Coach to league coach
Amateur coach to League coach

I still wonder if, given the opportunity, Laird would go to an AFL club as an assistant coach?
I don't believe Roy has the desire to coach at AFL level, he is quite happy combining football with real estate (from what I understand).

Gavin Chaplin has been an assistant and reserves coach over quite some time now and Healy has been coaching since he retired from playing. It would be surprising if one of these two were not the next coach at Centrals.

My lads play football under Brett James at Kersbrook, if a SANFL team is looking for a coach then he is certainly looking the part.

Mark Mickan
Andrew Jarman
Wayne Weidemann
Robert Pyman
Tim Ginevar (Power only)

Again just my opinion off the cuff without much thought. Dont know these guys personally.

If these guys are AFL coaches in waiting, they'll be waiting an awfully long time...

Never stated when or even if they will become AFL coaches.

Steven O'Çonnor from Kilburn / Barossa Dist has been head hunted by 2 SANFL clubs for season 2008.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?
