Whilst knowing very little about on field matters at Pantherland, I would have to say they are making a real effort at the administrative level. Their GM has had a lot to deal with and has done very well in the circumstances IMHO. Also, even if you think cars at the ground 'cheapens' SANFL games, Phil Herden is at least someone who appears to be trying to think laterally and not rely on the same old formulas. Give him some credit for that and in his first year, some credit for the support the club has shown him. The club has also made a real effort to engage with its local/zone footy communities by playing games at Encounter Bay. It's not all doom and gloom even if the results have not been rewarding thus far in 2007.
