SANFL's Most Needed

The final 5 teams are set, with the exception of Norwood who are the stand out you could throw a blanket over the other 4 teams.

Each team has 'those' players that take them from being a wooden spoon battler to a sneaky GF chance. Who are the top 3 players your club needs to stand up this finals series to be a premiership chance.

At Centrals

Justin Hardy- obvious one i know, has never dominated a finals series and hasnt had the greatest of years. He looks set to play the permanent full forward position. The Dogs lack Key Position forwards an inform Hardy can take them from an embarrasing elimination final exit all the way through to a sneaky Prelim.

Luke Habel- another one who is yet to have an impact in finals football. He has everything the current team lack, leg speed, great foot skills left and right and finishing ability. He has hit some form recently racking up Callinesque like figures against the Bays last weekend (4 goals 20 plus possesions) If he can cover some ground with the ball in hand the Dogs become a much better side.

Scott Dutschke- he can leap and mark, he can tackle, he chases and if on song he gives his team multiple chances in the forward 50 with his marking, pressure and workrate. For mine one of the Dogs biggest problems has been how easy the opposition walk the ball out of the Dogs forward line, this is the man that can change that. If the Physcotic Crazy Junkyard Dog Dutschke rocks up the Dogs could challenge anyone, if the couldnt give a rats ass ill just sit back and try and take hangers all day Dutschke comes out we could see a repeat of last years finals performances.

Good thread, I have taken it as players we cannot afford to lose.

Daniel Webb- has taken on the responsibility of ruck this year and has improved out of sight. Has a great leap and can be dangerous up forward too, if only Collins would play Nelson too and have a ruckman resting forward.

Travis Tuck- He is the clearance king at West and possibly the league. Strong, powerful and very hard to match up on. Can hit you on the inside or outside and can kick long goals.

Ryan Fergusson- Enough said. One of the best players to have donned a red and black jumper. Couragous, versatile and our leader.
