Great appointment. Having coached his previous teams to six appearances in finals from eight seasons I'm sure Mark will do a great job there.

Reckon he has 3
Pretty sure he won 1 at the Eagles and 2 with the Bays.
Probably 8 or 9 losses though

Was a bit hard for anyone to win finals between 2000 and 2010 unless you were Centrals.......
As a Westies supporter, think it is a good decision to get Rubbers!!!
The problem he may have is losing several key players.
Ferguson, Tippett, Slattery, Mangan, Beech, Silverlock and more I believe are no guarantee to stay on next year.

Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, afterall its just a given that the Bays lose finals

Incorrect, except when Mickan was a coach, it was a given (almost) that the Bays lose grand finals. Take out the Mickan years and Glenelg's minor finals record is excellent.
