I couldn't split who to pick with this game so when I saw North's odds of $2.90 earlier in the week I put a multi with North and Central and had one bet with Port involved in the multi and the other with Glenelg. I thought it was a sure thing with odds of over $7 with both bets. I was going to come out on top no matter what. Unless they drew. :(

Fair call Macca. You have so much better luck with homegrown players. Let North keep their duds for another tilt at the flag (at reserves level).

depending on when you put the bet on, most betting agencies will pay out on half the face value of the ticket, so all is not completely lost.

sounds like you got on before the margin betting was open so you will get half for that game, although it makes no sense what you did and you cost yoruself money....why put a multi on with both options on a game??? you would have been better off putting your total stake on the North/Centrals double even if it wasnt a draw

 You are right. Pretty dumb of me, didn't think it through - I am a novice punter (and mathematician)! Did end up getting half of it back so all was not lost.

We lost to Sturt with Hargs. We got a draw against Glenelg without him.

0+1 = 1.

Simple mathematics. Even for Wedgie.

And that explains Rd 4 how?

Rd 4??? I dunno - that's ages ago.

Wet weather???

As for Waterhouse and Hargs in the same team - it's only happened twice I think...
