But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

The rest of what you said was crap but as a non-north supporter jeez i hope you're right about this.

Nah, what you mean is that it was crap because he said North would win the flag (meaning Central won't)

I think it will be Steven Bradbury who gets 5th spot.

The team who loses less, or by less, than the others. It will be an undeserving finals participant I fear.

This thread was started in the knowledge that Norwood would be a certainty for the 5 as well. But (and I know it's only 2 losses) if the last two weeks are anything to go by, 4th may be up for grabs as well!

I did indeed think Norwood were in, especially after seeing them do the Tiges 5 weeks ago...
How times change.
Maybe who's gonna grab fourth and fifth?
For me the Eagles still...but have been impressed by the Bays the past four weeks so.............
Glenelg for fifth, Norwood OUT !! :D

I was at both the Norwood/Glenelg and Norwood/Eagles matches and in fact the past two weeks Norwood have had have been almost beyond comprehension taking those two above matches into account.

Too many assumptions .... I said at the time why assume Norwood for 4th

Now we are still assuming the top 3 is set .... it probably is but let's wait and see a bit hey?

Like the last few posters I too think 4th and 5th spots are wide open. Based on the last two weeks you'd have the Eagles and us making it. That could all chnage in another two weeks though.

not for one second am I suggesting we'll make it yet...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

How things change with one round of footy. With Norwood getting walloped, you could really only say Glenelg are a team in form from the bottom half of the table at the moment. Eagles sitting 4th depleted, Norwood sitting 5th after 2 hidings, Glenelg 6th on a roll, Port 7th and lost a crucial game today. South still well and truly in with a chance. I get the feeling it will take a minor miracle to prevent North and Central from playing in the GF though.

Next week if results go as could be expected, South beat Port, Dogs beat the Bays, North beat Norwood and Eagles beat West, 1 pt will seperate 5th and 8th....

The race for 5th spot is wide open....
