Postby RustyCage » Mon Feb 20, 2006 3:35 pm

Mark Alvey
17th February 2006

The Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club would like to inform all members that Mark Alvey will not be playing with the Club for the 2006 season. Alvey has commitments at home in Wentworth which at this stage are preventing him from making the necessary commitment that all players are required to make in order to play for this football club.

Heard Jack Cahill was dismissive of Alvey on 5AA the other night.

Anyone listen to the interview?

it may be a blessing
was interesting to read sheedy's comments during the week regarding getting rid of a few bad apples, reading between the lines it seems that Bullen, Cupido, Alvey and Ty Zantuk were all a handful to manage... Considering PA have already recruited Bullen, might be a blessing that Alvey did not folow.......

That's damage control for you  , deny, deny, deny while the problem is being sorted out and worry about the real story when it is beyond repair.
