What are we arguing about? I've forgotten...

I think this all started because I said that Jars had ill-advisedly referred to Hargreaves's alleged disciplinary problem for no other reason than to pump himself up. I stand by that comment. It was of no relevance, so why discuss it.

Somehow we've wound up discussing the placement of trees at Prospect and games played over 100 years ago, which have a similar level of relevance.

That's ironing. 10,000 spoons...

Jars and Ginever would pay a ransom for this material.

Wish I'd made the same mistake that day. :-)

Fair call, I'll have to pay that.

I've checked back and it appears I didn't post here when NAFC beat us in Rd 9.

However I did post on recent weeks when we were done by the Eagles and when we drew with the Bays.

Am I cleared, or do I have to make posts here when we lose to North to avoid being called a front-runner?

All clear - At least your honest re Round 9 and I did go back and check just in case you posted a lie but you didn't! Anyway play on - done to death, Hargs and Port spanked us Sunday so be it.

P.S. Bring a chainsaw next time to Prospect and I'll point out some trees that block the scoreboard view from the "Taj" whilst you are cutting down some of the others!

Selective posting and "baiting" will come back to bite you FA - you have been around thse forums long enough to know that!

I've never visited powerfromport for exactly the reasons you've outlined. If I want to read one sided drivel I'll buy the Advertiser and read Rucci, or I'll download Hansard and read Howard's bits.

I could be wrong, but I thought I did post here after you guys screwed us in Rd 9. I'll take a look and see what I can find.

I didn't really see the game properly from where I was on Sunday because some bright spark planted trees on the centre wing terraces at Prospect.

The Prospect Council really should put up signs to warn people that sitting behind trees may obstruct their view.

Wouldn't help. I'm a Port supporter and therefore by definition can not read.

can't argue against logic...I had a similar experience over the weekend...

I reported a kid for calling me a F***wit, he got off, he must have played the truth card as his defence....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

LMFAO Gold Mick. Absolute gold

Best post on this thread. Informative, to the point and doesn't mention Hargs or Jars.

For a lot of Norwood supporters the abiding memory of Jars is him carrying like a complete fanny on the Footy Show two days before playing for us in the 1996 finals series. To say he underperformed in that series would be putting it mildly. A switched on Jarman probably would have got us across the line in the infamous Preliminary Final of that year.

To his credit he came back and helped us to the the flag in 1997 but even he admitted he owed Norwood for his less than stellar efforts in 1996.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'

Prematch (West Coke vs Chocko's Chokers) his co commentators (KB & others) were talking up his aspirations for the melbourne job (LOL) and saying how Melbourne would not lack discipline when he got the job as he sacked his clubs leading goalkicker for the last five years.

Jars then went on to say, "yes his name is Daniel Hargraves, he was found to be drinking at the casino at 7 am in the week before our prelim final last year. Once that got back to me that was his last game at the club and the reason for his sacking"

This may be common knowledge to some fans, but was the first time I heard this in the public arena.

I don't think rooster fans can come on here and express annoyance at how bad a decision it was, based on the facts described by Jars.

Did you also hear the interview with JC. I had to pull over and throw up!

Hi Coorong, no did not hear that interview, who is JC?. I take it that I have represented the conversation 100% accurately, you certainly have a winner with SEN in Vic, almost 24 hour footy, I like their motto on mtch days "we are here before anyone else, and still here after they have all left, and other stations have resorted to their normal programming". I was there for just over a week and had it on in the car all the time.

You're a WWT supporter (how many GF's have they lost, and did they lose one by 20 goals  )and you refer to "Chocko's Chokers". Thats classic [/quote]

You do have to be favourite or minor premier to be classed as favourite, lose & choke though. POrt power achieved the threeeat from 2001 - 2003

This criteria does not apply to the SANFL reigning premiers' losses, bar 2000, admittedly
