Well until today it was because we hadn't lost in it!

But agreed, I was having a giggle with Brett White when the ressies were on as we were watching the reserves going around in the normal guernsey as we knew the league were wearning the "alternate" guernsey and we had to laugh as to how much our normal guernsey clashed with Sturts.

The thinking is that if it gets muddy a predominately white guernsey stands out more from other guernseys but as I and every other person that I speak to agrees upon if North are going to have an alternate guernsey for marketing sake it should be the all white guernsey with the red vee that we wore in the 30s and that South Freo wear as its an awesome guernsey unlike the crap we wore today. Having said that I do have one of our current "alternate" guernseys having won it in an auction and they do look a lot better close up.

Well done yet again with the pics Wedgie - most times when you take pics of Sturt games you manage to get my family & friends in the background at some stage - obviously you find us rather attractive...
Re the North guernsey - it resembled a Marlborough or Winfields cigarette packet - the 30s red vee on white background has more of a heritage look to it but I couldn't see the need for North to wear a different outfit anyway against Sturt. Perhaps if we must continually revive heritage images - can we have the respective captains decide on free kicks - especially in games that Richard Williams is appointed to!!!!!

If tobacco sponsorship ever returns to SANFL footy - it makes the identity of North's sponsors pretty obvious!!

If you replace red with black what team does the rear of the guernsey resemble?
