Thats cool Tassie, I was just having a brain wave!!
Always had alot of time for Darren, as a player and a person. He was a bit of a childhood hero to me when playing for South.
Just think he would have been great with the kids coming through and local recruiting in the Southern area.
I can still only dream!!!

Depending on how highly they rated Darren Mead during his time there a few years ago he could be an option. Gaza lost a fair few players this season, but Mead still seems to be doing good things there, although i stand corrected on this, haven't studied A1 Amateur premiership table lately.

Having spoken to a couple of Gaza players recently, Mead is rated very highly by the playing group and they expect him to disappear to the SANFL sooner rather than later.

Gaza is the breeding club for SANFL players, A. Jarman to North, Weed to West, Mead to South
