Shouldn't have any trouble stepping into Phillips shoes....the rest of team can step into his pants, at the same time !

Fair enough too

Darren Mead would have to be a stand out favourite if he wanted the job IMO.

Is he still at South?

Some of Ginevers decisions during a game of football
leave us on the hill amazed that he even got the job.

And phillips struggles even to get to the huddle at
the qtr time breaks before the siren goes to start play again.

I've heard Mark Tylor is a chance of taking the reigns of the "pies" reserves.

I dunno. When was he last involved at Alberton? 1986? And he didn't really do a lot at South.

It's a tough one.

Personally I think we should stick with Ginever for another year at least. Like I said elsewhere he played in a heap of flags and that counts for something. Our playing stocks are slowly building with good young talent, so with some fresh blood (which has been developed at Port Adelaide) and a bit more experience under the belt he might ultimately prove successful.

In hindsight perhaps two years of the combo with Jack might have accelerated Tim's learning - maybe one year wasn't enough.

Stick with him, unless there is an obviously better candidate. Otherwise we end up with a situation like Westies find themselves in.

I stand corrected.

Still didn't do much at South though. I say stick with Tim for now.

Please dont compare Jarman to Alan Stewart. Alan Stewart went about rebuilding the Centrals club with local and near country players and was instrumental in improving their relationships with each other. Jarman on the other hand is hell bent on recruiting from outside Norths own zone and has done nothing to foster relations with clubs in Norths zone other than Gaza.
Stewart was also a quiet, humble man focussed on the team whislt Jarman is more interested in promoting himself than his club. The approach was definitely long term with Stewart but with Jarman it is all about now with little thought for the future.

I agree with the sentiment of your post footynut, but I was simply referring to the fact that Stewie had to hand over the reigns to ensure club success as he had done all he could and that Jars is (IMO) in the same position.

Mead is at Gaza and considering they're 13-2 and on top, he'd have to be a strong chance if a job comes up...
