sanfl draw

Postby stampy » Sun Aug 05, 2007 3:58 pm

why is it that we have port playing twice at noarlunga/glenelg, norwood play twice at noarlunga, glenelg play twice at woodville. Why the anomaly with the draw. Arent we allowed to use adelaide oval or something, i know it wasnt available till the end of june but its now lying dormant when the sanfl could use it to good effect and not disadvantage clubs in the process

I think they dont want to much traffic on Adelaide Oval this time of year when traditionally it is wet, considering the traffic it will get during September its probably fair enough considering the young grass, if they let there be a game every week now and it was a mess for the finals Im sure they would get critised....wont happen again, a once off

Yeah, I don't mind having to go away twice in a season, especially with the upgrade to Adelaide Oval. Just a bit weird it has to be twice in 5 weeks.

not too sure on the draw, but i know some seasons we play teams at home twice and others away twice and some teams we even play at neutral venues.........

even if they had another draw programed central would still be top, its part to do with the adelaide oval & part to do with maximising attendances
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway
