Looked a good crowd down the Bay , must have been at least 5 - 6 thousand. Same old story about umpiring and why they cant upgrade the lights to a good standard for all is beyond me. If you want to play night games then get it up to speed.
Tiges are good and move and score quickly .
Ive said it before but its a great ground to watch footy , although not at night. The surface is looking brilliant . Glenelg and Unley have done something as both these grounds over the last few years are the best in the comp.
Maybe anticipate a better crowd would be my feedback. Good Friday and 2 teams that actually draw a crowd. ?

Timmy Sumner playing his first game back at Bays in Reserves and costs his team the win! Two minutes to go and Bays down by five points and running forward, he gets reported for striking, does not look good.

Think Centrals dodged a bullet there. Bays should have taken $20k offer for him, as that will be his last game. Think if he gets one game suspension (which is a certainty at the minimum) he is banned for life.

Good riddance, is a dirty player and no longer accepted in this day and age.

Those people on this forum defending him at the start of the season have egg on their faces, a leopard never changes his spots!!

With the women on at 1230 and for some reason the league at 1440, sorry TV blockbuster, a forecast that reads: Mostly sunny. Areas of raised dust in the late morning and afternoon. Winds north to northeasterly 30 to 45 km/h tending north to northwesterly in the middle of the day then tending north to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the evening. and not knowing who exactly will play in the oppositions reserves, I ask myself why am I going?

And the answer is free beer in the Peter Darley Room.

Unbelievable..

South 10.13 (73)
Ravens 11.7 (73)

49 down at once stage and ended in a draw (35 up last week and ended in a draw..).

Tom Whittlesea's kick from 45 out dribbled through for a behind, but the siren sounded just a second or so before the kick.

Wasted a few chances in the 3rd that might have proven the difference.

South are a very good team and have some very good players. Im pencilling in 3 teams already for the 5 , Glenelg , South & Norwood. It will come down to injuries and selection for The Crows .

From what I've seen so far Overall is the key to South's chances, straightens them up, clunks a grab, splatters packs and kicks straight. If he can stay fit they will be in the mix. Norwood have by far the best squad, their major hindrance is their coach. North are still a chance to play finals despite starting 2 games behind if their main players stay fit. Had a couple of kids play yesterday who looked the goods. Bays look good, but they have done for a couple of years. The loss of Josh Scott will hurt. The AFL filth are the lottery.

The problem for North are teams are committed to keeping them down. And this week they front against Norwood who will be Hell bent on proving a point. A loss this week will see North still on minus two points after 5 weeks. Everything has to go right from there to make Finals.

Yes I know . Only 18 games so after 4 I feel that is a reasonable conclusion. Pencilling in means it looks that way at this stage.

Assuming 9-10 wins is the normal requirement to make finals, if North lose to Norwood this week they would need to win 11 of their remaining 13. Whilst not impossible it’s very unlikely IMO

West way too Good Friday. Eagles lacking system, and gifting way too many goals to the opposition from skill errors. From being one of the best defensive teams in the past few years, they are now one of the worst. Will not play in finals if this keeps up. Big test for Lonergan here. Players are being re-active rather than pro-active. Toumpas a good first up game and Foote continues to impress.
