Reserves Qualifying Final

Postby maxyoz » Sat Sep 15, 2007 6:23 pm

South defeated Norwood by about 7 goals at Glenelg Oval, not sure of final scores as percentage doesn't matter.

So Glenelg to play South in the Second Semi Final next week, with Norwood playing North in the First Semi.

well done south
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

2 weeks in a row South beat Norwood, the Legs should be cherry ripe for a Roosters rampage, hopefully it'll be closer than last year's GF!

NFC, who exactly do you think is a regular league player? Daniel Pegler - 4 reserves games? James Boyd - 3 league games? Sam Elliott - 3 league games? All up we had four players come back from the league side - Crabb (3 games), Boyd (3 games), Sampson (8 games this year) and Iljcesen (about 10 games this year).

Compared to Tim Nicholas, Rob Dejongh, Mitch Sandery and Luke Crouch(?) who have all played league. I also notice Donohue, De Vries and Littler all played league last week, so I don't really see what you're getting at - both sides regained a few players who had played a few games in the seniors.

Sandery hasn't played league this year, Crouch has played maybe 1 game all year.

Ahh well, at least he wont have that to worry about next week, with North still playing league in the finals no matter what Im sure we won't drop too many players to our reserves when we take on Norwood.
