We keep talking about North's list but last time I looked the Eagles and Centrals have OK lists too. Over the course of the year, results have shown that North and the Eagles are evenly matched (and both behind Centrals) so the result Sunday could go either way. You wouldn't have the result of 1 game the sole basis of a decision like that.

The other repeated quote is this concept that someone else will come in and finish the job ..... but does this 'silver bullet' coach exist and is he available for 2008?

If someone else with better qualifications and credentials is out there and wants the job then, fine, look at him. But don't pre-determine a DCM if we lose on Sunday and then start from scratch trying to find someone else all over again because we dumped our coach for the sake of it.

Agree totally Hondo, although I believe would need a GF appearance to feel safe. Attention Essendon FC Board: please read the last paragraph above.
