That was amazing but again when we got the ball moving forward quickly we gave ourselves a chance
In the first half in particular when we went slow we played into Sturts hands .
Dittmar was excellent again for consistency he has been our best recruit .
By winning today we get to a Prelim final at worst which will make Harry available from concussion
Obviously a massive challenge next week

Unfortunately Harry in a tv interview, said he's out for the year due his broken jaw.

Amazing Sturt can blow so many chances and then Centrals kick seven straight.

@Spelly, Sturt won the 2017 GF with only 50 points, but how many finals or games in the modern era, say after WW2 have been won with 10 or fewer scoring shots?

Up until about 5 pm last night I thought Sturt ere genuine Montys for the flag.

now I'm not so sure!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Centrals can certainly drag an opposition down to their level, and that's a compliment not a criticism, that's why footy is so great.

Amazing win. Didn't give us much chance without, Grant, McCormack, Gasper, Lange etc.
I think next week Lange and Liddy in if fit, for Pickering and Deakin. Beau has to ruck against Boyd, who absolutely destroyed us at Elizabeth. Stick with him and try to nullify at least some of his clearances.
Other ruck Munn or "anyone" else. Unfortunately Pickering is like playing one player down. Again only about 7 hit outs, zero marks and kicks, 5 handballs.
It's like previously when thin in the rucks, we rucked Tom Collier and used him as an "extra" midfielder.

Agree re RP.
Deakin is the 7th defender (which has released Prez to midfield). IMO Larkins would be the other to miss.

Lange hurt his calf at training during the week.

I doubtful he'd be back this week.

Any news on a potential return date for Gasper ???

Lange had an upper leg strain. Will be a chance to play this week.
Gasper has a knee issue, possibly be available after this week.
Liddy is the interesting one. He played last ressies game but was clearly not 100% fit. Really needed a game this weekend to push his case, but he is probably available to be chosen.
