It would require a significant stumble from the eagles to drop out from here…. They’re giving that stumble a good shake in the last 2 weeks though!

They’re up for it though.

I think a greater concern is that the Crows will most likely be in both the AFL and SANFL finals … despite near misses in previous years, this could be the greatest threat to the SANFL premiership going to an AFL side.

If it does it will be the greatest shame in SANFL history.

Hopefully, the Crows can take it out (if Centrals can't). I'd like to see them knock out the "yes" clubs if possible. Then we'd no longer hear, " well how many premierships have they won? As if this is the only important consideration. The greatest shame in SANFL history was voting them in.

Men vs Boys for the second week in a row. Eags just haven't got the depth to counter 21 AFL listed players. If we had our best side on the park today, we still would have lost by 6-8 goals, the Crows were that good. I would suggest they would have beaten quite easily every other side in the SANFL today, barring sturt and bays. Those two would be more evenly matched and a closer result either way.
Having said that, it is disturbing the large gap between the Eagles best and worst. West would be rightly thinking they have a huge chance against us next week.

Are we sure the Crows still actually pay anything? Every other condition of their entry has changed
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Norwood play us at Elizabeth, Eagles at Norwood, Crows at Norwood, West at Norwood, North at Prospect & Port at Norwood.

Wiggles play West at Home, Norwood at Norwood, Glenelg at home, Sturt at home, South away & North at home.

Results this week will be significant:
- Norwood win this week and they should get to 9 wins (I would expect them to win all other games except against the Crows).
- Eagles will struggle to win 3 of their remaining games to get to 9 wins, and will likely have a poorer percentage. This week is 50/50 at best given the current injury list. Wins against South and North may be more likely only if we can get some players back from injury by the end of the season.

Quite likely that Norwood will be in the top 5 in two weeks and remain there.

I hope you do, but it probably just delays the inevitable by a couple of weeks.

I just looked at the updated injury list - we will struggle to win another game.
