Bzzt, wrong, and I know because I played in one (managed to chalk up 50 games) and still look at the scores of that league every week in the footy season.

Has anyone mentioned that all "normal" games commence at 2pm this year as opposed to the varied times in 07?
I do prefer a later start but Im glad its consistent this year no matter if its an ABC game or not.

Which league is that? Over 35s, under 14s?

Neither as I started when I was 25 and retired when I was 30.

Why don't you just tell us the name of the league, or is it too embarassing?

I know the 2pm start can be a tad early, however, it is appropriate given the late finishing times of games played when the days are shorter in May and June.

Merry Xmas! :) :)

ANZAC DAY 25/04/07
CD V NA

PREVIOUS GAMES
NA play PA at Alberton Sunday 20/4
CD play NW at Hamra Saturday 12/4 then have a bye

Let me work this out
NA have a 5 day break
CD have a 13 day break
AND lets play this at Hamra just to top it off

Very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very UNFAIR.

Strange thing is that when Central had a two week break leading into the GF North supporters were very happy. Same scenario leading into this game and you are unhappy??
Players should be able to get themselves up for a game with a five day break btw. That should not be a concern.
Cheers

It's about time we were on the good side of an unfair fixture!

MAL seems to have comments about every club EXCEPT for Norwood so perhaps I misread him in the past and he's actually a Central, Glenelg, North, Port, South, Sturt, Eagles and West supporter?

You only had to ask.

Southern Football League, C Grade.
Played a B grade game when it didn't clash with a North game (B grade are on Saturdays) but refused to play if North were on the same day.
Wasn't a bad league at times as a lot of A grade players who couldn't play on Saturday's for work often lined up on the Sunday. Still got the scars from when I rucked against an Association A Grade ruckman! :(

Don't think there's as many teams in it these days, because of comps like the SANFL stuffing around with the days they play.;)

Ha ha. Fair enough. If you're dedicated enough to find a Sunday league to play in you must love NA.
