At the Eagles we have seen the premature retirements, for this season anyway, of Brad Williams and Brodie Lomas. Brad has battled to over come a knee injury and he has decided for the time being to concentrate on work, have an operation later in the year and maybe try a come back some time in the future. The news on Brodie is that he has a heart complaint that has required surgery and his long term future is in doubt. Certainly the short term will mean a complete rest from the game and a lot of recuperation.
