Could be a few late nights for the tribunal this season if this type of incident is going to be reported each week. Didn't think there was much in it personally, and obviously neither did any Norwood players, since no-one remonstrated with Farmer at the time.

It's been thrown out like it should be, in fact shouldn't have wasted everyone's time.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

I don't even remember the incident so I doubt there was much in it.

It was in the centre of the ground when Norwood was kicking to the Parade end (2nd qtr i think). The central umpire waved play on after the contact, but Richard Williams correctly awarded Borlace a free kick from his position back in Sturt's forward line.

Borlace went off under the blood rule after the incident, but not sure if this was caused by the contact with Farmer or when he hit the ground. Worth the free kick, but not much else in my book.

Perhaps we are seeing signs of common sense from the tribunal after some of last year's forceful contact rulings?
