not so much a question as a comment, thought sturts forwards, while could have kicked straighter and maybe kept my heart rate down a bit, worked well. having those tall options really gave the dogs defence some trouble.

would like to hear phils and co's comments about that.

Sorry Anthony .... Wedgie it is for every more.

I don't know if I have ever worked harder calling a game .... so many score updates and just John & myself doing the call.

I've come home and am totally knackered .... but very happy

Sorry Smithy, didnt see this thead until after we clocked off.

Great stuff Phil, the only good thing about games starting at 2pm is that I got to hear a good half hour of the broadcast from 4.30pm, sensational show, well done to all involved.
I see you're calling with Doug Oakley next week but are still seeking a 3rd person for special comments, Im sure Sturtpeter would be an appropriate choice.

Couldn't agree more Wedgie..
I reckon sturtpeter would do a terrific job in the commentary box.
What do you reckon sturtpeter? Are you up to the task?

I would say they're footy questions smithy has in mind, unless if you've got a North fan in there - Barrie Robran would be the answer. ;)

I know, I know poor form by me, but given LifeFMs target audiences and part source of income, it is an obvious question isn't it????? :D :D
