Postby CK » Sat Jun 17, 2006 8:24 pm

Don't forget to post your opinions for this week's competition for tomorrow's "Total SANFL" show.
Are the Bulldogs right back in town? Can the Eagles be considered in premiership calculations? How are South travelling? Where do Port sit now?
Post your feedback, no more than 10 lines, on this forum, by NO LATER than 10pm tonig ht.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Everyone put an entry in, its simple and I won a $50 voucher last week with a bit of illiterate prose, just say what you think of what's happened today peoples.

My comment:

"Port drop out of the 2, are they on the way down?
Look out the Dogs are coming (AGAIN!!)
The Eagles brought a wonderful Torrens guernsey out of mothballs at Thebby, great to see!
South hang in the hunt for the 5 but the Top 4 seems set.
Who will get that elusive 5th spot, South or Glenelg?
Stay tuned!"

god i hope the bulldogs arent back in town, we play them next week. I think that maybe they are back and just winding up at the right time and will be a strong force in september.
Eagles premiership contenders, not serious ones, they may play on that day but will run second, thats how they like it.
Not sure how south are travelling, they seemed to struggle against Westies, i only got score updates, but they kicked away in the last 1/4 which would have been encouraging for them. I think that they will battle out 5th spot with Glenelg and possibly norwood.
Port may just be having a minor hiccup with injuries and no panic stations to be alerted by losing to the doggies at the kennel.

I know its late but I was at the Parade last night

Centrals back in form, would be worrying for the other 8 teams
Port drop a couple, are they not as strong without a couple of AFL listed players :?:
Eagles tribute to the past got the result they wanted, but the Tigers pushed them
Westies gave the Panthers a fright in front of a very disappointing crowd
and on a freezing cold saturday night the World Cup came to the Parade as Norwood
soccered a goal Tim Cahill could be proud of to get up in a thriller
