*looks into crystal ball*

South will put up a strong effort against the Magpies and lose ... just. Will thrash Sturt and will beat North.

Yep, hard to mount a plausible arguement against that statement James :x

The run homes for South, Norwood and Glenelg are going to be crucial, the team that beats the others vying for 5th spot will make it. An obvious statement I know but what I'm trying to say is the team that wants it most will make it, the 2 Bays v used car yards games will have a big say in who makes it.

FWIW not 100% impressed with our effort in the last two games....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

THE EFFORT was there against the EAGLES just lacked poor decision making and skill errors.

Id be more concerned with the effort that was shown yesterday, in fact they showed very little and im still bemused how we were in front up till about half way through the second quarter.

Even though this quote is attributed to John Button former govt leader in the Senate when Hawkey was in power and he said in reference to his cats but I believe it applies equally to us....

"I can cope with the despair, it is the hope that I can't stand....."

At this stage if Port don't find a bit of form they won't make the finals so there may be room for both South and the Bays.
We used to be good :-(

not so much need a dry track we need our best 22 out there, we have no depth and once we get a couple of injuries its just about all over.

motlop could have played but it would have been to hard for him to get a kick and gill may have struggled to get a grab, but on a dry day they are very good players.

Centrals will just be winning the FLAG again.

they are far too good for any team in this competition and other clubs can try and kid themselves otherwise but all they are doing is denying the inevitable.

we did show something against the Eagles, but the past two weeks have been bitterly disappointing!!!!!

you can say we are pretenders, but when we have our best 22 in the squad we can push any team, but when one or 2 injuries come along and then its 8 well then we struggle as we have no depth.

I really hope that you guys can get it back on and start beating the top teams again - It'd be nice to have a fresh team near the top as it's gotten a bit stale of late.. not that I can complain TOO much about it!!!!
