Well, hmm, lemme see, come finals time, we've got a nice list of AFL players who will be eligible to play for us.

Jacob Surjan, Scott Stevens, Ivan Maric, Adam Kingsley, Gavin Wanganeen (if he didn't retire), Brett Ebert.

Looks rather good to me.[/quote]

They may look good as do the AFL Players that WWT MAY have to pick .
But the point that you have missed mate, is that our two AFL TEAMS do not always permit THEIR AFL listed players to play SANFL FINALS .Their are always exceptions to rule like DEW Played for Centrals because the power was still playing in the finals in 2004.But what you tend to find is that your AFL listed players will after the season need to have operations etc and not be allowed to play .
But the only way for any of us to know for sure is to wait until the SANFL FINALS and the way the Power are playing all their guys maybe on holidays come SANFL FINALS and not be allowed to play for their SANFL teams .
Sorry mate fact of SANFL FOOTY LIFE .
Perhaps as some of your fans said on Saturday why have we not found a FULLFOWARD that may help your team more .

Very dissapointing result to have two quarters of dominant play against us which led to being behind the eight ball all the time. We did well to work back into the match but the second half was deplorable.

We lacked any sort of midfield presence and we had no answer for their small runners up forward.

Eagles look in killer form at the moment and they have a well balanced side. Could be their year maybe??

Sorry PAP, but there right. We can't rely on AFL players poping in every few weeks.

Its like the coach saying: "Ok guys listin up Maric isn't with us this week so were stuffed in the ruck plus Surjan is at Power so we really can't win this game but try to have fun"

Its a negative thing to have going. We can't rely on AFL playrs come finals time. A champion team will always beat a team of champions.
