In all fairness, in the period of time that Woodville existed the wooden spoon tally is thus:

Woodville: 9
Sturt: 3

Even if you throw in the 5 Sturt won after Woodville died, Woodville are still in front.

1) The umpiring was atrocious. Have not seen such a poor display of umpiring in all my 52 years of watching senior football. They were biased beyond comprehension.
2) We would have won had we not been riddled with injuries and the loss of senior players.
3) We were playing mighty well until the rain came down at the 11 minute mark of the first quarter when a member in the stand reminded us all of the victory over West Adelaide last week. Had the dry conditions remained I expect we would have run out winners.
4) How can we expect to compete with sides who have established pokies. Just you wait until Bar Zaar gets going and then we'll show you who's boss.
5) The effort for last weeks thrilling victory, combined with a day less break was too much to overcome for our proud players and loyal supporters.

6) Why didn't Coops play that well for us??

In front,or behind?
