I think it is symptomatic of South is that they recruit good players but not good characters.....

You can knock them but Hargaraves has come and stayed, Leys came and stayed, Sherwood has come and stayed. South always seem to go for the great players Cubido, Tuckey, King but not what you would call the best characters.

either that or South are good at p!sing off players so they don't stay

Central have done the same with their recruitng lately. No flash (in the pan) players but blokes who have stayed and become "club" players. Players like Hay, Hopwood, Bello, Scoullar and the Gowans' have given great service to the club.

Yep Giffo, my bad for not mentioning Centrals recruiting prowess, who have done it better than anyone over the past 5 years.

None currently there now but I think thats more a timing issue ... Neill, Direen, Harvey and co at the Legs ... Hopefully we can keep the likes of Zorsi, Campbell, Bailey, Culpitt and Jackman around the place for a while ...
